D’s Magical Bakery – Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to reserve your order date for custom, decorated, or large orders.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to pickup or delivery for custom/decorated orders, and 2 days prior for standard items.

  • Orders are not confirmed and will not be started until the required deposit or full payment is received.

  • Orders cannot be fulfilled without full payment.

  • Late payments will forfeit any discounts attached to the order and incur a late fee of 2% per day on custom and decorative orders.

  • Failure to pay the remaining balance by the due date may result in order cancellation with no refund.

  • Orders may be cancelled by D’s Magical Bakery after 2 days past the payment due date if payment is not received.

 

Rush Orders (Custom/Special Items)

  • Custom or specialty orders requested within 7 days of the scheduled pickup or delivery may be accepted with a 25% rush fee.

  • Custom or specialty orders requested under 5 days notice cannot be accommodated.

  • Standard items (most cupcakes, donuts, cookies) may still be available with same-day or next-day service and are not subject to rush fees.


Cancellations & Refund Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including event cancellation, weather, illness, or changes in plans.

  • Cancellations must be communicated at least 48 hours prior to the service date.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the service date are not eligible for any refund.

  • For large events (100+ servings), cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the event or delivery date to receive a refund of the balance minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days may forfeit refunds due to preparation or specialty ingredient purchases.

  • Cancellations made within 5 days of the event will forfeit all refunds.

  • Once preparation has begun, no refunds or credits will be issued.


Specialized Custom Orders

(For specific ingredient requests or specialty decorative items)

  • Orders requiring specialty ingredients or custom decorations require a non-refundable deposit, due two weeks prior to the service date.

  • This deposit allows time for ingredient sourcing and/or custom décor acquisition.

  • If additional time is required for sourcing, this will be communicated to the customer prior to item purchase.


Design & Artistic Agreement

  • All baked goods are handmade, and slight variations in color, size, texture, and decoration are normal and expected.

  • Exact replication of inspiration photos is not guaranteed.

  • By placing an order, the customer agrees to accept the baker’s artistic interpretation and style.


Quality & Acceptance

  • All products are made fresh and in compliance with Oklahoma Cottage Food guidelines.

  • Any concerns or issues must be reported at the time of pickup or delivery.

  • Once the order leaves the baker’s possession, responsibility transfers to the customer.

  • No refunds or replacements will be provided for:

    • Improper storage or handling

    • Weather-related damage

    • Transportation damage

    • Damage caused after handoff

    • Personal taste preferences

    • Change of opinion after pickup or delivery


Order Handoff

  • For deliveries, someone must be present to receive the order. If no one is available, the order will be considered cancelled due to no-show, with no refund.

  • For pickups, failure to arrive at the scheduled time will be considered a cancelled order.

  • Delivery includes a 15-minute wait window. Pickup includes a 30-minute grace period after the scheduled time.

  • If additional time is needed, the customer must contact us prior to the scheduled time.

  • If the customer requests items to be left at a doorstep, the customer assumes full responsibility for the order and waives any claims for damage, loss, or spoilage.


Customer Responsibility

Once handed off, the customer is fully responsible for all items, including but not limited to:

  • Breaking, smudging, crushing, or mishandling

  • Damage or consumption by animals

  • Proper temperature control (refrigeration or warming as required)

If damage occurs prior to handoff, D’s Magical Bakery will communicate with the customer to discuss a partial refund, full refund, or future order discount, at the bakery’s discretion.


Delivery

  • Free delivery within Collinsville, Skiatook, and Owasso.

  • Delivery outside these areas is charged at $0.50 per mile, calculated in whole-mile increments, from D’s Magical Bakery.


Catering

  • Catering (orders with 5 or more different items) includes a $25 delivery and setup fee.

  • Serving food at events is not permitted under Oklahoma Cottage Food Law.


Rental Equipment

  • Rental items are non-refundable.

  • Rental fee: $20 per item.

  • Items must be returned in reasonable condition (normal wear such as dirty tablecloths or stands is acceptable).

  • Damaged or unreturned items will incur a replacement fee, with receipt provided.

  • Replacement fees must be paid within 7 days of notice.


No Free Products / No Review Leverage

  • Free products, discounts, refunds, or partial refunds will not be provided in exchange for:

    • Reviews

    • Social media posts or comments

    • Threats of negative feedback

  • Attempts to use reviews, comments, or feedback as leverage for compensation will result in immediate refusal of service.


Allergen Disclosure (Oklahoma Required)

This product was produced in a home kitchen not subject to routine government inspection.
Products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.

Customers are responsible for disclosing allergies prior to ordering.


Cottage Food Compliance

  • Products are non-potentially hazardous and approved for cottage food sales in Oklahoma.

  • Orders are sold within Oklahoma only and are not shipped across state lines.

  • This business operates under Oklahoma Cottage Food Law and is exempt from routine health department inspection.


Photos & Marketing

D’s Magical Bakery may photograph completed products for portfolio, website, and social media use unless the customer submits a written opt-out prior to the event date.


Policy Updates

D’s Magical Bakery reserves the right to update prices and Terms & Conditions for future orders.
Customers are responsible for reviewing Terms & Conditions prior to payment.


Agreement

By submitting payment, the customer confirms they have read, understand, and agree to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
